eers custom-fitted earphones currently offer two sound signatures. The first uses a single tuned dynamic speaker that delivers enhanced bass response without sacrificing speaker performance. The speaker and bass reflex generate a rich sound with bass enhanced clarity and vivid sound. The second sound signature uses two dual driver balanced armature speakers with crossover that act similar to most home theater systems. The speaker is tuned to provide a flat musicians response allowing users to listen to music as it was recorded.

eers custom-fitted earphones by Sonomax will be displayed at the 2012 International CES, which runs January 10-13, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Innovations Design and Engineering Showcase will feature honorees by product category, which can be seen at CES in the Venetian Ballroom and at CES Unveiled: The Official Press Event of the International CES on Sunday, January 8.
The Innovations entries are judged based on the following criteria:
- Engineering qualities, based on technical specs and materials used
- Aesthetic and design qualities, using photos provided
- The product's intended use/function and user value
- Why the product deserves the Innovations award, including specifics regarding its unique/novel features and features that consumers would find attractive
- How the design and innovation of this product directly compare to other products in the market place
Products chosen as Innovations honorees reflect innovative design and engineering of the entries. The Best of Innovations Awards are awarded to the product scoring 90 percent or higher in their particular category.
