The app-enabled device lets users easily track their belongings within a range of 200 feet

First introduced at the 2014 International CES in Las Vegas, KiiTAG can be securely attached to any valuable including backpacks, keys, luggage, purses and more. Using Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy technology, the device and app help individuals track and quickly locate up to 10 items within a range of 200 feet. KiiTAG is available in three vibrant colors and is powered by a replaceable lithium battery that lasts up to six months.
Once purchased, users can download the free app to register their KiiTAG and obtain exclusive ownership of their device. Once it is registered, the KiiTAG cannot be tracked by or paired with another user or item.
KiiTAG continuously monitors the signal strength between a user’s mobile device and the item being tracked. If users travel more than 200 feet away from one of their valuables, an Out-Of-Range alert will immediately appear on their phone. If an item becomes lost, the “Last Place Seen” feature can be utilized within the app to view exactly when and where their valuable was last in-range. Should an item remain unfound, it can be reported missing within the “Community Lost & Found,” in which other KiiTAG users can assist in finding the item.
Additional in-app purchases expand KiiTAG’s capabilities, helping users do more than just track their belongings:
Phone Finder ($0.99): Turn KiiTAG into a two-way tracking device. Once downloaded, users can simply press the KiiTAG device to locate their phone from up to 200 feet away.
Auto Message Sender ($4.99): This feature makes KiiTAG an easy way to contact friends and family, especially in the case of an emergency. Users can press the device twice to automatically send an SMS or e-mail with a pre-programmed message, along with their exact location.
Camera Remote ($3.99): KiiTAG can also function as a remote camera shutter. Download this feature to make taking selfies and group photos easier.
