Mobile Apps Showdown Celebrates apps at CE Week, NY with two-day exhibit, contest and gdgt party

Celebrating “app-sanity” with the fun-filled, acclaimed Mobile Apps Showdown Exhibit. Exhibitors can enter their mobile apps and be a part of CE Week festivities. Activities include: a two-day exhibit on the CE Week show floor, an online and real world showdown where judges and audience vote their favorite apps, and a fan party for the NYC digerati on June 25 curated by gdgt.

WHY:                      
There are more mobile phones worldwide than there are toilets or adequate drinking water, and the market for mobile apps is following in close pursuit, growing at the astounding rate of 12 percent a month. At the end of 2011 there were 29 billion app downloads. The Mobile Apps Showdown aims to put the best and brightest in mobile app technology on display, separating the noise from the rest. .
