Mandatum plc: Change in the composition of Mandatum’s Shareholders’ Nomination Board

As announced in the flagging notification published by Mandatum plc on 15 February 2024, Solidium Oy has sold all its shares in Mandatum plc. In accordance with the Charter of Mandatum’s Shareholders’ Nomination Board, if a shareholder who has appointed a member to the Nomination Board ceases to own any shares in the company during the Nomination Board’s term of office, the member appointed by such shareholder must resign without the possibility of the Nomination Board deciding otherwise. Petter Söderström, Investment Director of Solidium Oy, has today on 15 February 2024 announced his resignation from his position as Chair of the Nomination Board.

The composition of Mandatum plc's Nomination Board is therefore as follows:

  • Herman Korsgaard, Principal, Altor Equity Partners AS (appointed by Altor Invest 8 AS)
  • Risto Murto, President and CEO, Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company (appointed by Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company)
  • Patrick Lapveteläinen, Chair of the Board of Directors of Mandatum plc, acts, as an expert member, as the third member of the Nomination Board

The Nomination Board shall elect a new Chair from among its members and decide on any other measures related to the composition change at its next meeting.
