Mandatum receives Future Workplace Certification for the fourth consecutive year

Mandatum has again earned the Future Workplaces Certification that is granted as a proof that the company culture is led with exceptionally good employee insight.

The Siqni employee survey assesses what a company’s employees consider to be the most meaningful aspects of their work and the extent to which they are fulfilled. Mandatum was one of seven organisations in Finland with over 500 employees that earned the certification. Overall, 121 companies pursued the certificate, and it was granted to 35 per cent of them.

High employee satisfaction has been one of Mandatum’s most important targets for over ten years. In 2020 and 2021, Mandatum was chosen as Finland’s best workplace in the Great Place to Work Institute’s survey in the large organisations’ category. Mandatum also earned the Future Workplaces Certification in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

“By investing in company culture, we aim for both an excellent employee experience and a high level of customer satisfaction. Also going forward, our goal is to be a workplace where our employees feel that the matters that are significant for them are realised every day. By assessing the aspects that are most meaningful to Mandatum’s employees and how they are fulfilled, we can continuously improve them,” says Mandatum Group’s CEO Petri Niemisvirta.

Mandatum’s employees feel that, of the aspects that they consider to be the most significant based on the survey, the following were realised best:

  • Skilled colleagues
  • Strong team spirit in the workplace
  • Possibility to use one's own expertise daily
  • A fair and capable supervision
  • Meaningful work tasks

Mandatum’s employees responded to the survey in December 2024. The response rate was 86 per cent.
