Scandinavian Clinical Nutrition AB (SCN) will start to distribute CUUR in England in late January, 2007. This is the result of today’s signed Distribution Agreement with Natural Health Products (NHP) in Ireland.

In the first phase, CUUR will be launched in approximately 3,000 health food stores, including the well-known chain Holland & Barrett. Holland & Barret is owned by USA’s leading health food distributor NBTY, the company that distributes SCN’s products on the US market. The second phase will be a hard launch into pharmacies and drugstore chains.

England is in second place after the US as the world’s most overweight country, and the CUUR marketing will be targeted towards those trying to change their lifestyle. Studies made on CUUR show that those who change their eating and exercise habits can increase their weight loss with up to 49 per cent and the fat loss with up to 68 per cent if they take CUUR as an add-on product to their diet.

Ulf Söderberg, CEO of SCN, is very pleased with the new Distribution Agreement for CUUR on what the company considers one of the most important markets after the US market.

“Our new partner NHP wants to a safe and long-term development for CUUR, and will together with new distribution partners have the products as their main focus for 2007”, says Söderberg.
