(NGM:SCN)

Until now, Scandinavian Clinical Nutrition AB (SCN) has sold CUUR outside the Nordic countries by license from Bringwell. SCN will now also take over the Nordic market, meaning that SCN now has taken over all obligations, rights and responsibilities regarding CUUR against a royalty to Bringwell. SCN will also take over and continue the dialogue with the Swedish Medical Products Agency.

The agreement benefits both parties, since SCN has the scientific resources to handle products like CUUR, while Bringwell keeps a good net margin through the royalty agreement.

“It is important for SCN to have full control over our products on all areas and markets”, says Ulf Söderberg, CEO of SCN, and continues:

“CUUR gives good, natural and efficient help to most of those who choose to start a diet to reduce an unhealthy overweight, and we will continue to reinforce the scientific documentation around the product to give our customers an increased safety in their choice of diet product.”

Further studies conducted by both internal and external experts have reinforced SCN’s and Bringwell’s opinion that CUUR is a safe preparation, and that the reports on possible liver interactions that the Swedish Medical Products Agency have described have other reasons.

The agreement takes effect immediately.
