Marjo Halonen appointed responsible for Metsä Board Communications

Marjo Halonen (M.Econ.) has been appointed VP, Communications for Metsä Board, a part of Metsä Group, as of 1 January 2017. In this role she is responsible for the company’s marketing communications, other external communications excluding investor relations and internal communications.

Halonen moves to Metsä Board from Outokumpu Corporation, where she has since 2013 held several managerial positions in communications. Earlier she was responsible for PR and Communications activities of Specsavers Finland. Halonen has extensive experience from different communications and marketing tasks also in Metsä Board’s predecessor companies.

Metsä Board’s previous VP, Communications, Katri Kauppila has moved to another company.
