Moody’s upgraded Metsä Board’s credit rating to Baa2

Moody’s Investors Services has upgraded Metsä Board Corporation's issuer credit rating to Baa2 from Baa3. The outlook of the rating is stable.
The upgrade is based on Metsä Board's continuously strong operating results and solid credit metrics. The stable outlook reflects expectations that the strong financial position and solid profitability will be maintained in the near future.
The upgrade will not have a material impact on Metsä Board’s current financing costs.
