Digital solutions provider Miss Group hires COO to deliver next phase of growth
Miss Group, the international digital solutions provider, has appointed Jonas Zimling as its new COO.
Jonas was most recently the Group COO at Group One where he led a team of more than 250 engineers, developers, customer service and operations specialists across six countries, delivering services to more than two million customers. Jonas supported and integrated new acquisitions before ultimately leading the business to a successful exit.
Jonas brings a track record of growing businesses across sectors, including hosting and domains, b2b SaaS, digital marketing and cyber security. He also has experience of M&A integration, product development and innovation, and has led businesses in the UAE, US and across Europe.
Miss Group, which is headquartered in Stockholm and founded in 2014, has delivered consistent growth against an ambitious buy-and-build plan, with revenues now in excess of SEK one billion and with EBITDA margins of +40%.
Commenting on the appointment, Miss Group founder, Mattias Kaneteg, said: “Under Jonas’ leadership, Miss Group will be able to deliver against our ambitious targets for our next growth phase. As well as technical expertise, Jonas brings exceptional leadership capabilities and will help us to continue to innovate and deliver excellent service for our customers.”
COO, Jonas Zimling added: “I’m passionate about building, expanding and leading high-performing international teams. Miss Group has an outstanding reputation with its customers, an excellent culture and has significant plans for growth which the business has already demonstrated its ability to deliver on. This combination made the role a compelling opportunity and I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the team.”
Founded in Sweden in 2014, Miss Group has expanded to encompass more than 25 brands across multiple territories in recent years and employs more than 350 people worldwide.
Perwyn, a leading European private equity investor, acquired a majority position in Miss Group in February 2020 to support the growth ambitions of the business through international expansion and ongoing M&A.
Mark Blower, Partner at Perwyn and Miss Group Board member, said: “Building out a well-rounded and high-calibre leadership team is a crucial part of scaling a business like Miss Group.
The business has delivered excellent and consistent growth to date, and there remains great potential as the business continues to expand. We are delighted to have Jonas on the team”.
