Miss Group-owned Name SRS continues contract as sole accredited registrar for .stockholm

Miss Group-owned business Name SRS has re-won an exclusive contract to act as the sole registrar for the top-level domain .stockholm. 

The business had previously won the exclusive rights in 2019 and has now won the contract for a second time, enabling it to manage the City of Stockholm domains and its top level domain .stockholm. 

Frei Leufven, CEO at Name SRS, said: “We are thrilled to have re-signed our exclusivity agreement with the City of Stockholm. This is an important domain for the city and we are honoured to be supporting the City of Stockholm with its domain management.”

The City of Stockholm secured the rights to the top-level domain .stockholm in 2014, having made a strategic decision to proactively own the domain to avoid it being used by outside agencies. It was launched for internal use in 2019 and Name SRS was announced as the exclusive accredited registrar that same year. 

Name SRS is an ICANN-accredited domain registrar and part of the Miss Group family of businesses.
