Miss Group relaunches Hostek following global integration
Fast-growth, international web hosting business, Miss Group, has introduced a new identity for one of its key enterprise hosting businesses – Hostek – as part of a global growth strategy for the brand.
The Hostek business, part of Miss Group since 2019, recently completed an integration with two of Miss Group’s leading businesses in Sweden, Ballou and ilait. Now, the Hostek brand is relaunching in its UK and US domestic markets.
The brands of Ballou and ilait have become Hostek Sveriege, serving close to 900 partners with over 35,000 end customers across the Nordics, offering more complex hosting and server solutions.
The brand consolidation and new websites are part of a strategic transformation for the Group, providing its enterprise hosting customers with greater geographical reach, as well as increasing the range of products and services available to support their businesses online.
Founded in 1998, Hostek is a US-based provider of managed server solutions for businesses including BBC, Yell, Unicef and Thomson Reuters. It currently services over 17,000 customers across the UK and USA and will expand its global reach for both new and existing customers as part of the multi-brand integration.
Fredrik Björklund, Chief Operating Officer at Miss Group, said: “Miss Group is on an ambitious growth journey and as part of that growth we want to ensure that we continue to offer our customers the best-in-class hosting, domain and other services, wherever they are in the world.
“Hostek is a well-known brand with an impressive track record and an excellent reputation in the marketplace. The decision to merge two of our leading enterprise hosting brands in Sweden under Hostek Sverige ensures that we’re well placed to capture greater global market share and increase efficiencies in every aspect of business for our growing customer base.
“Miss Group has invested in creating a fresh identity for Hostek as part of this consolidation, which combines the considerable expertise of all three businesses under one enterprise. With Hostek and Hostek Sverige, we will be able to offer our customers a top-level hosting company that can accommodate all their needs and offer an even greater range of products and services,” he added.
