Schneider Associates Promotes Catherine Kellogg to Account Executive and and Mike Ruta to Digital Account Executive

BOSTON – September 10, 2013 – Schneider Associates (SA), a Boston-based public relations and integrated marketing agency specializing in launching and accelerating growth for products, services, companies, organizations and communities, announces the promotions of Catherine Kellogg to Account Executive and Mike Ruta to Digital Account Executive.

After completing a summer internship at Schneider Associates, Kellogg joined the agency as an Account Coordinator in 2012. In her new role, Kellogg is responsible for day-to-day client management, media and community outreach, and social media management. She supports account strategy development for a wide array of clients, including the Downtown Boston Business Improvement District (BID), the D’Amore-McKim School of Business, and Private School Innovator. Kellogg is a graduate of Boston College, where she earned her degree in Political Science. Kellogg brings experience working on numerous local and national political campaigns, and completed an internship with the Massachusetts Democratic Party prior to joining SA.

As Digital Account Executive and member of the InGROUP, Ruta is responsible for social media community management, generating content for client programs, and reporting on social media metrics. Ruta is a social media strategist who develops and executes content-rich ideas for clients across all practice groups. A graduate of the University of Hartford Hartt School of Music, Ruta holds a degree in Music Management. Prior to joining Schneider Associates as Office Manager and Executive Assistant in 2012, Ruta worked as a Managing Associate for Ted Kurland Associates, a prominent Jazz Booking agency, where he worked directly with legendary Jazz musicians Sonny Rollins, Chick Corea and Pat Metheny.
