Mitsubishi Electric’s unique Hybrid VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) system has received further industry recognition by winning the Commercial Air Conditioning Product of the Year, at the HVR Awards 2016, held at Chelsea Harbour Hotel on 27 October.

This comes straight off the back of securing the Award for the Air Conditioning Product of the year (System or Standalone) at the RAC Cooling Industry Awards in September.

And the product has also been shortlisted as a finalist in the National ACR & Heat Pump Awards being held in Birmingham in January 2017.

“We know that Hybrid VRF can future-proof projects and remove the need for leak detection so it is hugely gratifying to get this industry recognition,” explains Mark Grayston, Product Marketing Manager for the company’s City Multi range.

“We are now seeing the system being installed in projects as diverse as offices, hotels, retail and accommodation as more people realise how it can combine simultaneous heating and cooling with the comfort levels of traditional 4-pipe Chillers.”

With no refrigerant in occupied spaces, complete flexibility of design and cost-effective installation, Hybrid VRF delivers a sure way to achieve optimum comfort control for modern buildings.
