Innovative Ecodan recognised with national awards

The innovation and pioneering Ecodan range has once again received industry recognition by picking up two awards at the coveted National ACR and Heat Pump Awards in Birmingham.

Securing both the Heat Pump Product of the Year, and the Remote Energy Monitoring Award, the latest enhancements to the line-up have been well received by the market and continue to ensure that Mitsubishi Electric leads the way in domestic and commercial heat pump technology.

“We are especially delighted to be recognised in these two categories as it shows our approach to developing heat pumps that are easier to install and easier to control is working”, explained Stuart Bell who collected the awards on the night for the company.

The fifth generation of the Ecodan range is all rated as A++ in the latest regulations covering energy labels – the highest category possible.

The latest addition to the line-up, which also includes remote energy monitoring as standard, is the 4kW unit designed specifically for the new-build sector, where the hot water requirement is the dominant load.
