New Internet air conditioning controller maximises energy efficiency
Mitsubishi Electric has launched one of the most advanced energy monitoring centralised air conditioning controllers available, to provide building operators and estate managers with complete control over energy use from one location.
The EB-50 centralised controller offers web-based control and monitoring of up to 50 air conditioning systems and complete compatibility with the company’s M Series, Mr Slim, City Multi and Lossnay ranges of equipment.
“We have developed this new controller to bring a raft of advanced benefits to our customers,” explains Sebastien Desmottes, controls expert for the Hatfield-based manufacturer.
“Not only can all equipment be automatically monitored, with scheduling programmes changed, operators will also be able to use the controller to completely control and manage the energy that their systems are using at any one time.”
The controller’s Ethernet port enables connection to BEMS interfaces, graphical representation of energy use, energy consumption targets, downloadable energy data files and energy data stored to enable historical trend analysis.
The EB-50 is the next generation of centralised controllers incorporating easy weekly and annual scheduling and night setback, optimised start and load shedding and remote monitoring with M2M technology.
The system offers automatic set point adjustment and both simple and advanced levels of energy monitoring, all via the Internet.
“The EB-50 joins our great line up of controllers which are all about ensuring that our customers are able to get the very best performance out of their air conditioning in the most energy efficient ways possible,” adds Desmottes.
