Lars Lindvall new CEO of UJ-Trading AB
Lars Lindvall will succeed Hans Jansson at Moelven-owned UJ-Trading from 1 November.
Hans Jansson – who has been CEO of the company for 27 years – will take up position as Purchasing and Marketing Director of the company. He will remain with the company until at least the summer of 2018.
Mechanical engineer
Lindvall is a trained mechanical engineer and has served in various roles. Everything from the quotation engineer, sales support, export sales, marketing manager, sales manager, Executive Vice President and subsidiary supervisor.
“In 2012 Lindvall returned to Söderhamn Eriksson after a few years as sales manager at Bruks AB in Arbrå for a focused effort in Russia with a separate subsidiary and staff,” says chairman of UJ Trading and Managing Director of Moelven division Timber, Anders Lindh.
Extended the area
He then extended the area with the Baltic countries, Australia, Germany and Austria when activity in Russia decreased due to sanctions from the West.
Very pleased
Lindh is very pleased with the appointment.
“The company gains great expertise with Lars Lindvall. He has a large network in the sawmill industry all over the world, with customers, agents and suppliers. Lars has worked in the industry for his entire career since 1985 and knows it intimately. Hans Jansson and I are very pleased we were able to recruit Lars to UJ-Trading,” Lindh says.
