Looks can chill
Different finishes on Moffat’s chilled merchandiser enhance display
At the heart of any grab and go or self-service operation are open-fronted chilled merchandisers. Not only are these essential for displaying food and drinks safely and attractively, but they also encourage customer up-take and minimise wastage.
Moffat has designed a range of stylish chilled merchandisers with stainless steel, wood effect or colour finishes that compliment an establishment’s décor at the same time as enhancing the display and maintaining food quality.
The merchandisers have a refrigerated well with re-circulating cold air which cascades down the front and over the shelves to maintain an even temperature of under 5oC throughout. Ticket holders for front of shelf are available and, if the units are to be used for overnight storage, it is recommended that a night blind is fitted.
There are four models to choose from, ranging from the 900mm wide MM9 to the 1800mm wide MM18. All are 1925mm high and 700mm deep. Versions with lockable front shutters and night blinds are also available throughout the range.
Designed to comply with the operating requirements of BS EN ISO 23953 providing M1 standard performance in a climate class 3 environment, the merchandisers maintain the core product temperature of pre-chilled food below 5oC in ambient temperatures not exceeding 25 oC and 60% relative humidity.
Prices start at £4428 for the MM9.
