New, expanded Chamber team to be based in ElginAfter more than two years at the helm of Moray Chamber of Commerce, chief executive Lesley Ann Parker is to step down from the role in order to pursue her own business interests. Lesley is expected to leave her post at the end of May to focus on growing her own art and marketing business, Leap Scotland Ltd, based in Craigellachie. Her departure will result in organisational changes at Moray Chamber, and the opening of a new Chamber of Commerce office in Elgin. Moray firms to discuss prospects for business growth

25 March 2012 Scotland’s Enterprise Minister Fergus Ewing will hear first hand from business leaders in Moray on their business growth plans when he addresses the Moray Chamber of Commerce ‘Prospects for Growth’ conference on Monday. Delegates will highlight the findings of a recent business survey, commissioned by the Chamber of Commerce, which revealed ongoing concerns about business rates, transport infrastructure, town centre revitalisation, inward investment and red tape. Business leaders will also have an opportunity to quiz the Minister in a question and answer session.
