Mott MacDonald appointed lead design engineer for £5.1 million Llandudno Station renovation, Wales

Mott MacDonald has been appointed by Buckingham Group Contracting Limited as lead design engineer for the renovation of Llandudno railway station in north Wales. The £5.1 million scheme is being delivered by Network Rail on behalf of the Welsh Government and is part of the Department for Transport's National Stations Improvement Programme. Triumph Park residential development creates sustainability history in Russia

The Triumph Park development in St Petersburg has become the first residential building in Russia to be awarded a design-stage BREEAM certificate and only the second project to be BREEAM certified in the country. The Mott MacDonald designed £13.5 million environmentally-friendly Foresterhill Energy Centre at NHS Grampian’s new health campus in Aberdeen, UK, has secured a BREEAM Excellent rating score of 83.32%. The centre was also named best industrial building at the BREEAM Awards 2012. A new £5.3 million rehoming centre for dogs has been completed, with the help of Mott MacDonald. The consultancy was appointed as design engineer by the Dogs Trust, the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, for the new centre located in the town of Roden.
