The board of directors of MQ Holding AB (publ) and Christina Ståhl, CEO and President, have commonly agreed that a CEO shift will take place during 2018. A search process for Christina Ståhl’s successor will be undertaken.

- We have a common view on the process for the CEO shift and are in agreement with Christina Ståhl that she will remain in her post throughout the recruitment period. The ambition is to appoint a new CEO during autumn, says Claes-Göran Sylvén, Chairman of the Board.

- Christina Ståhl has conducted a significant work for the MQ Group during five years. We have now a new business plan in place and the adaption work continues to meet the paradigm shift that MQ, as well as the entire fashion industry, is in the middle of. That provides conditions for a new CEO to take on and continue the Groups development further, says Claes-Göran Sylvén.

- It has been very inspiring to be involved in developing the MQ Group together with all committed employees. But when the work now enters the next phase and we have a new three-year business plan in place, the time is right for me to leave in order to take on new assignments. Five years have given the necessary continuity for the MQ Group and it has been an exciting time with the ongoing transformation of the fashion industry, but now the time is right for a new CEO to continue the journey, says Christina Ståhl, outgoing CEO and President.

Christina Ståhl has six months’ notice of termination.
