The Theatre Ninjas mobile app has been downloaded more than 1,250 times since the beginning of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2010. One of the most exciting new developments to hit the world’s largest arts festival, the Theatre Ninjas initiative gives shows and performers the chance to upload free tickets a couple of hours before their gig. Audiences can then gain entrance with a secret code, and an average of 35 of the 160-plus to sign up thus far have been offering upwards of 750 tickets in total each day.
