DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA, March 9, 2012 – The LPGA today announced that Sunology® Natural Sun Protection, a sunscreen product line developed, manufactured and distributed by McNabb Nutraceuticals, LLC. containing only FDA-approved active ingredients derived from nature, has been named the Official Sunscreen Product of the LPGA Tour for 2012. The agreement was unveiled today at the 2012 Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, CA.

“Our partnership with Sunology® will help to equip the LPGA’s players, staff and fans with an important and healthy tool in the prevention of skin cancer,” said Edward Willett, LPGA Vice President of Business Development. “This announcement continues the positive momentum that the LPGA has felt both on and off the golf course in 2012.”

As Official Sunscreen Product of the LPGA Tour, Sunology® will sample its product via expo space at six LPGA Tour events in 2012 including the upcoming Kia Classic and Kraft Nabisco Championship.

Sunology® is a “physical” – not a chemical – sunscreen. As a physical sunscreen, Sunology® uses only FDA-approved active ingredients derived from natural sources, as opposed to man-made or chemical sources. Sunology® products help prevent the development of free radicals, which may result from the absorption of man-made active sunscreen chemicals into the skin. Free radicals may put individuals at risk for accelerated skin aging and developing various forms of other skin disorders. Sunology® is free of man-made active sunscreen ingredients; it is a natural alternative that preserves, protects and rejuvenates the skin’s sensitivity to the harmful effects of the sun.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with the LPGA,” said Richard Doermer, Founder of McNabb Nutraceuticals and the Sunology® Natural Sun Protection Products. “Our hope is that our LPGA relationship promotes awareness of Sunology® sunscreen as a healthy, effective alternative to popular, chemical-based sunscreens.”
