Republic Bank of Chicago Hosts "Pet Vaccination Day" on September 14
Walk-in, Low-cost Vaccines Offered through South Suburban Humane Society in Hodgkins on September 14
Oakbrook, IL—(September 5, 2012)—Republic Bank of Chicago announces its support for the South Suburban Humane Society by hosting “Pet Vaccination Day” at Republic Bank’s Hodgkins Banking Center, 9440 Joliet Road in Hodgkins, IL, on Friday, September 14. Owners of cats and dogs, only, can have their pets vaccinated during the clinic hours of 1 p.m.-6 p.m. No appointment is necessary.
The following vaccinations and services will be provided throughout the afternoon: canine distemper/parvo, canine bordatella, feline distemper, microchipping and nail trim. Services range from $5-$20 each. Dogs must be leashed and cats contained in carriers Payment is due at the time of service.

The South Suburban Humane Society was founded in 1971 and has serviced pets in the Chicagoland area through humane education, pet adoptions and animal abuse investigations. In 2009, the Humane Society was responsible for approximately 6,000 animals. The Humane Society operates an open-door animal shelter in Chicago Heights, as well as two resale shops located outside Steger and Chicago Heights.
