Republic Bank of Chicago Presents $5,000 Donation to St. Nicholas of Tolentine Parish School
Oakbrook, IL – (March 19, 2012) – Republic Bank presented a $5,000 donation to St. Nicholas of Tolentine Parish School, a longstanding Catholic grammar school in Chicago’s West Lawn neighborhood. The contribution will be put towards funds to renovate the school’s computer lab.
Geri Amelio, Daisy Jimenez, Brenda Garcia, Natalie Lopez and Kinga Paslawska – all associates with Republic Bank, presented the check at the First Annual Dinner Dance on March 10 – a fundraising event for the renovation project.
“We are humbled by Republic Bank’s generous donation to St. Nicholas’,” said Principal Mariagnes Menden of St. Nicholas of Tolentine Parish School. “No words can adequately express how thankful we are.”
Republic Bank associates attended the event in enthusiastic support for the student body, faculty and parent’s efforts with their presence.
