The winning couple from the six-week challenge of THE SEARCH FOR THE WORLD’S BEST COUPLE will be introduced in Chicago, courtesy of Michael Hill Jeweller, exclusively at Water Tower Place.  

New Zealand-born Cameron and US-born Shariyah Morris have won a stunning 22-carat princess cut diamond platinum engagement ring and wedding band -- which will be worn by Shariyah and on display for media and photographers -- valued at $322,000.

The Ultimate Engagement Ring Search for The World’s Best Couple is the ultimate public display of affection. Run online, the six-week competition has attracted couples from the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand to complete a series of 16 challenges to gain as many public votes as possible.

Thousands of engaged couples who registered from the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand competed via a series of online challenges over a six-week period, with the leading six couples narrowed down to one winner by a panel of judges including: Author of “Sex and the City,” Candace Bushnell, author and television reporter, Kathryn Eisman, Jeanine Pirro, former district attorney and television judge, and Michael Hill.

WINNING COUPLE:            

New Zealand born Cameron met U.S. born Shariyah, while working as a travel agent in Seattle. Shariayah had accepted a job as a nanny for a Seattle family and Cameron (the family’s travel agent) was asked to handle her travel arrangements.
