MyFC has received an order of its fuel cell charger JAQ Hybrid. This is the first commercial delivery of JAQ Hybrid for myFC, and the customer is Huangdou e-commerce.

The initial order is for 500 units, with a planned delivery after the Chinese New Year. Both parties are planning for further orders, and Huangdou’s intention is to sell 30,000 JAQ Hybrid units during the year. The initial order value does not exceed 0.5 MSEK.

“I am pleased that we are finally on our way out on the Chinese market. We are planning for deliveries to begin after the Chinese New Year,” says Björn Westerholm, CEO of myFC.

In order to introduce JAQ Hybrid on the Chinese market, a joint marketing agreement is in place, in addition to the sales agreement. Huangdou e-commerce is a new customer for myFC.

"In December 2017, I informed the market of an expected delay in orders from Telling. The Chinese market is facing the disruption of e-commerce and new consumer buying behaviors. Telling has worked to create sales channels directed at consumers. I view our new agreement with Huangdou e-commerce and this initial order as a part of this change, and consider it a result of our existing and unchanged relationship with Telling. Huangdou e-commerce is indeed a separate company, but one that is very close to Telling,” says Björn Westerholm.

JAQ Hybrid is a power bank for smartphones and tablets with an integrated LAMINA fuel cell from myFC. The combined advantages of fuel cell and battery gives users full flexibility and complete mobility, as the JAQ Hybrid can be charged either using myFC's patented green fuel or through a wall outlet.
