MyFC reinforces Group leadership with Sebastian Weber as Chief Technology Integration Officer
MyFC reinforces its organization with Sebastian Weber. As Chief Technology Integration Officer, he will be responsible for one of the company's four core areas: full integration of myFC’s technology in smartphones.
Sebastian Weber has extensive experience from the mobile industry, including Ericsson and most recently Fingerprint Cards. He was instrumental in building both technology and organization for Fingerprint Card’s integration into smartphones, from the very first customer to reaching volume business. At myFC, he will lead the work towards full integration of the company's hybrid platform, based on the LAMINA fuel cell, in smartphones.
"Sebastian will be instrumental when it comes to integrating our technology into smartphones, which we refer to as job #3. I have immense respect for his knowledge and experience, and his track record from the industry is very impressive," says Björn Westerholm, CEO of myFC.
“MyFC offers an attractive mix of challenges: a cutting-edge technology that is truly unique, a green technology with great potential, and a focus on integration in the mobile industry. The latter has become something of a specialist area for me, and it is an area where I can contribute effectively and efficiently," says Sebastian Weber.
Sebastian Weber will take office on May 1. In addition to Sebastian Weber, the Group Management Team will then consist of CEO Björn Westerholm, CFO Ulf Henning, COO Torbjörn Möller, Chief Product Officer Michael Glantz, and Max Rydahl, Marketing and Sales Director.
