Anders Kristiansen steps down as CEO at NA-KD, Oscar von Konow appointed as interim CEO and Per Jalvemyr deputy interim CEO.

NA-KD’s CEO, Anders Kristiansen, has informed the Board of his decision to leave the Company with immediate effect. Oscar von Konow, previously COO at NA-KD, has been appointed interim CEO as the Board has started the work to find a permanent replacement. Furthermore, Per Jalvemyr, previously CFO at NA-KD, has been appointed deputy interim CEO.

Following Mr. Kristiansen’s appointment on March 1, 2022, he initiated a review of the Company’s operating model and governance. Based on the findings of that review, Anders Kristiansen and the Board of Directors concluded that additional measures are required to support NA-KD’s next phase of development.

Anders Kristiansen said: “On assuming my role as CEO in March, I launched a review of the Company’s operating model and governance. It became clear to me that those were not what had been advertised to me, and so I tendered my resignation. I have informed the Board of the review’s findings, and I would like to thank the Board for their support.”

Chairman of the Board Magnus Emilson said: “The Board of Directors fully supports Anders Kristiansen in this decision and we would like to send our sincere thanks to him for his most valuable contribution to the Company. We wish him all the best for the future.”

He added: “The Board of Directors remains confident in NA-KD’s unique position and future potential. The Board is excited to promote Oscar and Per to their new roles, and has full confidence in their leadership and the wider NA-KD management to steer the business in a great way in the quarters to come while we search for a permanent CEO.”

Interim CEO Oscar von Konow, previously COO at NA-KD, has been with the Company since inception in 2015. He has set up most of the Company’s operations and knows the Company and the organization inside out. Oscar has more than a decade’s experience from retail and ecommerce and has a background in management consulting. Per Jalvemyr, CFO at NA-KD since 2017, assumes additionally the role of interim Deputy CEO. Per has vast previous experience from the industry from having had several CFO roles for retail and ecommerce companies/brands.
