Näckebro develops Alvik Terrass for SEK 95 M Näckebro has signed a contract with construction firm Åke Larson Byggare to develop Alvik Terrass in west Stockholm. The development will entail an extra 5,000 sq m of office space. The contract is worth SEK 95 M. Näckebro acquired the 28,000 sq m property in December 1996 for SEK 270 M. Rental revenues are currently SEK 25.5 M per annum. The architect is Rickard Rothstein of Rickard Rothstein Arkitektkontor AB. The choice of building contractor fell to Åke Larson Byggare as a result of their excellent record in keeping delays in the construction process to a minimum. "Alvik Terrass is a clear example of Näckebro strategy of developing properties in the most attractive locations," says Näckebro Chief Executive, Lennart Scönning. "Its closeness to lake M¤laren and the new piazza at Alviks Torg will make the property particularly attractive to expansive high-tech companies. Alvik will also be a major centre for public transport with the building of the new express tramline and new airport bus terminal." Alvik Terrass was built in 1979-80 for Zander & Ingeström, and was formerly the head office of Alfa Laval.
