Näckebro sells CarPark to UBS

Näckebro sells the CarPark group to UBS Private Equity. The parties have agreed not to disclose the price. Näckebro makes a considerable capital gain on the transaction. The visible equity/assets ratio increases 1,5 % to over 28 %. Car Park is not a part of our core business. The sale follows our strategy to focus on properties in Stockholm, Malmö, Gothenburg and London, says Lennart Schönning. CarPark is Scandinavia's leading private parking company operating in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. CarPark has 160 employees. The turnover in 1997 amounted to SEK 360 M with a profit of SEK 24 M. The new owners have the ambition to develop CarParkís already strong position in the market.
