Anjobygg AB to renovate housing in Halmstad for SEK 150 million

NCC subsidiary Anjobygg AB has been commissioned by Halmstads Fastighets AB to renovate and extend the Hjässan property block in Halmstad. The contract is worth approximately SEK 150 million.

The aim of the renovation project is to create attractive accommodation for the elderly in the Hjässan property block in Andersberg, Halmstad. The buildings in question will be supplemented through the add-on of two stories and accessibility will be improved by means of the installation of elevators and changes to the floor plan. Following completion of the extension, renovation and add-on assignments, the number of apartments will total 194, of which accommodation for the elderly will account for 64. The assignment will be conducted on a general-contract basis and construction will commence in December 2004. Work is scheduled to be completed during December 2006. Approximately 25-30 employees will be engaged in the project, which will be included in orders received during the fourth quarter of 2004.
