Christina Lindbäck is appointed SVP Corporate Sustainability for NCC Group
Christina Lindbäck will take on the new position as Senior Vice President Corporate Sustainability as of March 1st 2013 and will become a member of the NCC Group management team. Christina is currently VP Environmental Affairs for NCC Group.

Sustainability has been a prioritized area in NCC since a long time and it is crucial to maintain and grow the business in the future. The responsibility also includes the ethical aspects of the business – compliance, code of conduct and social responsibility. Sustainability comprises the environmental, social and economic aspects of the business. It is not only about NCC’s own efforts in the area but also very much about our stakeholders and the societies future requirements. The design of our future societies will have an impact on current and future generations where buildings and infrastructure is an important part.

NCC has developed a broad range of customer offerings in the environmental field, for example green asphalt, sustainable refurbishment, passive houses as well as methods for reduction of CO2, for example a new fuel for reduction of CO2 for production of asphalt, as well as other emissions.
Christina Lindbäck was appointed VP Environmental Affairs in NCC 2010. Prior to that she held a position as Director of Environmental Affairs at the Ragn-Sells Group, where she worked since 2002. In addition to this, Christina has a long experience in the Ministry of Environment in the Swedish Government in several positions.
Christina Lindbäck is Chair of the Swedish company hosting the Nordic Eco label, the Swan, and the EU Ecolabel and is a board member of the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research and she has also held the position as Chair of the Swedish Association of Environmental Managers.
