Christina Lindbäck will assume the position of Vice President Environmental Affairs for the NCC Group in autumn 2010. This is a newly created post directly under NCC’s CEO Olle Ehrlén.

Christina Lindbäck’s most recent employment was as Director of Environmental Affairs at the RagnSells Group, where she has worked since 2002. Prior to this, she worked a total of 11 years at the Ministry of the Environment, holding such roles as Assistant Undersecretary for a term of five years.

NCC’s CEO Olle Ehrlén had the following to say in a comment:

“Christina Lindbäck will play a key role in NCC’s continued work to coordinate all investments in the environment and energy area. NCC is already a leader in the field of energy-efficient buildings – both offices and residential housing – but needs to be better at knowledge transfer within the Group.”

A strong environmental commitment characterizes Christina Lindbäck, who aside from her operational position at RagnSells, also has several undertakings in the environmental area. These include Chair of the Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research and Board member of the Swedish Recycling Industries’ Association. She has also held the position of Chair of the Swedish Association of Environmental Managers.

Christina Lindbäck will report directly to CEO Olle Ehrlén.
