Danish partnership agreement results in SEK 285 million construction order NCC signed a partnership agreement today pertaining to two contracts in Sønderborg, Denmark, with a total order value of approximately DKK 235 million, corresponding to about SEK 285 million. NCC's work on this subproject, which is part of the largest construction program in southern Jutland, will begin as early as August 2004. NCC's subproject comprises Forskerpark Syd A/S (a research park), the University of Southern Denmark, a concert hall and a new city park in Sønderborg. NCC's part of the construction program will employ approximately 70 persons for two years, starting in August 2004. The clients are the Municipality of Sønderborg, the National Agency for Research and Education Buildings, the Concert Hall Fund and Forskerpark Syd A/S. In addition to representing a major public investment, the project has received private funding from, among others, Danfoss and the Realdania Fund. As a result of the concentration of the university, research park and cultural facilities in the same location, this program will help to promote growth in the region.
