Göran Svensson appointed new president of NCC Roads Göran Svensson, currently manager of NCC's Civil Engineering Stockholm/Mälardalen region, has been appointed new president of NCC Roads. In connection with this management shift, NCC Roads' business area office will relocate from Copenhagen to Stockholm. NCC Roads' current president, Hans Gormsen, is leaving the NCC Group. "The purpose of the change is to ensure the closer control and follow-up of road operations," says Alf Göransson, President and Chief Executive Officer of NCC. Göran Svensson, 48, has an engineering degree from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and has spent his entire working life within the NCC Group. He started as a supervisor in 1978 and became works manager in 1986, followed by department manager in 1991 and regional manager in 1994. Göran Svensson will assume his new office as president of NCC Roads on September 8.
