NCC is acquiring additional land in Ursvik, Sundbyberg, outside Stockholm for SEK 280 million. The intention is to develop about 750 homes in the area. The seller is Specialfastigheter AB.

The expansion of Ursvik is proceeding. In stages over a ten-year period, NCC plans to build detached and semi-detached houses, row houses and apartments in the area, based on tenant ownership or rental rights. The overall intention for the appearance of the area is to create qualitative, comfortable, safe and secure residential environments in the form of a mixed development. “NCC’s main objective for the development of the area is to offer attractively priced, high-quality housing in a safe and secure external residential environment,” says Calle Gustafson, Regional Manager at NCC Boende. “The development of additional land in Ursvik will be a natural continuation of the residential area that we have already started to build there.” NCC has already initiated the expansion of Ursvik, where the first phase consists of the construction of 48 apartments and 25 row houses. Payment will be made in stages, as the detailed development plans become legally effective.
