NCC contributes to strengthening of Neptun Maritime

NCC contributes to strengthening of Neptun Maritime Neptun Maritime today announced a comprehensive program for the refinancing of the company, which included a strengthening of its capital by nearly SEK 800 million (FIM 524 million). NCC has decided to participate in the refinancing measure by guaranteeing subscription of a maximum of approximately SEK 225 million (FIM 150 million) of a new share issue. The capital contribution will enable Neptun Maritime to definitively discontinue its loss-making operations in the English Channel and focus on the profitable passenger and ferry activities in the Baltic Sea. "As a result of the restructuring measures, Neptun Maritime will become a profit-generating company with a highly positive cash flow. NCC's core business consists of construction and real estate operations and we should not be viewed as a long-term owner of Neptun Maritime. The potential to attract new external investors will now be improved significantly," says Tommy Nilsson, President of NCC Invest.
