NCC Danmark acquires GH Beton and GH Element

NCC Danmark acquires GH Beton and GH Element NCC's wholly owned Danish subsidiary, NCC Danmark, is to acquire all of the shares in GH Beton A/S and GH Element A/S. GH Beton A/S owns and operates seven ready-mixed and dry concrete plants on the Danish island of Zealand. The company has annual sales of approximately SEK 170 million, with about 80 employees. GH Element A/S has three plants on Zealand for the production of ready-mixed concrete and prefabricated lightweight concrete elements. The company has annual sales of approximately SEK 160 million, with about 140 employees. Following the acquisition of Superfos Construction's European operations, NCC Danmark's activities consist of the production of gravel, crushed products, asphalt and concrete. The acquisition of GH Beton will further strengthen the company's position in the market for concrete. GH Element will be integrated in Betongelement A/S, in which NCC Danmark owns a 50-percent interest.
