NCC Danmark signs letter of intent covering purchase of GH Beton and GH Element NCC Danmark, a wholly owned subsidiary of NCC, has signed a letter of intent with the GH Group covering the acquisition of all shares in GH Beton A/S and GH Element A/S. GH Beton A/S owns and operates seven ready-mixed concrete and dry concrete plants on the Danish island of Zealand. The company has annual sales of approximately SEK 170 million, with about 80 employees. GH Element A/S owns and operates three plants on Zealand for the production of prefabricated concrete elements and lightweight concrete elements. The company has annual sales of approximately SEK 160 million, with about 140 employees. "Following the takeover of Superfos Construction, NCC Danmark's industrial operations consist of the production of gravel, crushed products, asphalt and concrete. An acquisition of GH Beton would further strengthen our position in the market for concrete. GH Element would be an excellent complement to the operations of Betonelement A/S, in which NCC Danmark owns a 50-percent interest," says Kaj Kristensen, President of NCC Danmark.
