NCC leases premises in Nordstaden property to MQ

NCC Property Development has signed a contract with MQ concerning the leasing of approximately 3,600 square meters of office space in the Nordstaden (former Hasselblad) property in Gothenburg. A total of 84 percent of the property has now been leased, which means that a large portion of the rental guarantees can be dissolved and will be reported during the second quarter of 2007. The property has already been sold to Credit Suisse Asset Management.

MQ is a retail chain that currently has 93 stores throughout Sweden. NCC Property Development has concluded a contract with MQ Sweden AB, which is to lease approximately 3,600 square meters of office space. As a result of the new lease, MQ will relocate its Head Office from Borås to Gothenburg, during the spring of 2008.

“We have created a dynamic work environment in the property, which will have an excellent mix of well-known companies as tenants,” says Manne Aronsson, Acting Regional Manager for NCC Property Development in Western Sweden.

Setterwalls Advokatbyrå, Carnegie, Carmenta AB, Projektgaranti, Solberg Kommunikation and Swedish Taste have already signed leases for Nordstaden. In addition, Sportlife is to open a training facility in the property.
