NCC receives Norwegian orders worth SEK 400 million

NCC receives Norwegian orders worth SEK 400 million NCC's Norwegian subsidiary NCC Eeg-Henriksen has received three orders with a total value of approximately SEK 400 million. The orders are for a shopping mall in Narvik, a care center in Tromsö and a patients' hotel at Ullevåls Hospital in Oslo. The order, for Demag's new 17,000 square meter shopping mall in Narvik, has a contract value of approximately SEK 150 million, with an option regarding additional work worth about SEK 60 million. Approximately 80 employees will be engaged in the project, which is scheduled for completion in time for Christmas shopping in the year 2000. The care center in Tromsö will contain various forms of accommodation for about 100 residents, as well as care premises for the elderly. The total floor area is approximately 10,300 square meters and the contract value is about SEK 140 million. NCC Eeg-Henriksen and NCC Building in Sweden will cooperate in the implementation of the project. The 7,800 square meter patients' hotel at Ullevåls Hospital will contain 147 hotel rooms, as well as such facilities as a library and a restaurant. The project is scheduled for completion on April 1, 2000.
