The Enskededalen block of service apartments, part of the Dalen 20 property, was built in 1979. The property was acquired by Micasa Fastigheter in 2005. Health and social care facilities and homes for the elderly are now being built here.

“Micasa Fastigheter has a clear goal to provide safe, accessible and well-maintained properties. The Dalen 20 block is an extensive refurbishment project that must meet stringent requirements. We feel secure having NCC as our partner due to its solid experience in similar projects and previous project deliveries to us,” says Karl Frisell, Project Manager at Micasa Fastigheter.

NCC’s assignment is to carry out a complete structural refurbishment of the building. This will include demolition, plumbing upgrade, surface renovations, replacement of windows and window doors, installations, roofing works and installation of solar cells. The assignment also involves refurbishment of courtyards. The total refurbishment area is approximately 23,000 square meters, with the aim of building 215 homes for the elderly.

“We are pleased that Micasa Fastigheter has once again decided to cooperate with us, especially for such an extensive and technically advanced project such as the total refurbishment of the Enskededalen block of service apartments. We will utilize our extensive experience and competence in this project. The refurbishment will start at the beginning of 2022,” says Henrik Landelius, Head of NCC Building Sweden.

Construction will commence in the first quarter of 2022 and the building is scheduled for completion at the end of 2024.

The assignment is valued at approximately SEK 250 million and will be registered among orders in the fourth quarter of 2021 in the NCC Building Sweden business area.
