NCC’s corporate tax in 2005 reduced by SEK 59 million following National Tax Board ruling

An impairment loss was incurred on the shares in NCC Property Development’s holding company in the Netherlands and a deduction was claimed in connection with Swedish taxation. In a reassessment ruling dated December 21 pertaining to the 2004 tax year, the National Tax Board has granted this deduction.

In NCC’s assessment, the consequences of the Tax Board’s ruling will have a positive impact of approximately SEK 59 M on the Group’s corporate tax in the final accounts for 2005.
