NCC's Docklands property is fully leased Sharp decrease in vacancy rate outside Sweden NCC recently concluded two additional leases for the company's East India Dock property in London regarding a total of 6,200 square meters of floor space. Safetynet has signed a lease for an additional 2,100 square meters. This company, which offers temporary premises to companies whose own premises or equipment have been destroyed or are unavailable for various reasons, already leases 2,700 square meters of the property. The second new tenant, Guardian Dr, has signed a lease for 4,100 square meters. This company is active in the same sector as Safetynet. Both of the new leases are for terms of 15 years. East India Dock is owned equally by NCC and SPP. In addition, NCC recently leased slightly more than half of the LOT 10 property in Brussels. The new tenant, Coca-Cola, has leased 5,200 square meters for use as an information center. As a result, tenants have now been found for 85 percent of the property. "Following the recent signing of leases in London and Brussels, the vacancy rate for our overseas properties has now been reduced by 6.4 percentage points to about 10.5 percent. This means that the vacancy rate for NCC's total real estate portfolio has been reduced by approximately 1 percentage point," says Magnus Mannesson, President of NCC Fastigheter AB.
