NCC´s sale of property in Norway generates SEK 92 milliion gain

NCC's sale of property in Norway generates SEK 92 million gain NCC has signed an agreement with Gjensidige NOR Forsikring regarding the sale of the Lysaker Torg Nord Phase D property in Oslo for SEK 492 million. The sale will generate a development gain of SEK 92 million, which will be included in the NCC Group's earnings for the third quarter of 2001. Phase D of the Lysaker Torg Nord project involves construction of a new office building comprising 13,500 square meters of floor space. After completing the construction and sale of 25,000 square meters of office space at Lysaker Torg Syd in 1998, NCC Eiendom of Norway commenced construction of Lysaker Torg Nord last year. The first phase comprises an in-door car park for approximately 600 vehicles. Construction of another two office buildings above the car park is planned. During autumn 2000, an agreement was reached with If Skadeförsäkring AB regarding the leasing of the offices in Phase D of the project and of 200 parking spaces.
