NCC sales a hotel project in Linköping for SEK 143 M NCC has concluded an agreement with City Finansiering A/S of Norway regarding the sale of the Palmen hotel project in Linköping for SEK 143 M. The sale will generate a gain of SEK 12 M, which will be included in the NCC Group's earnings for the fourth quarter of 2001. The hotel project in the block Palmen has a prime location at Stångån in central Linköping. The hotel, which will be operated by Scandic Hotels, will have 220 rooms and also a restaurang and a conference section. NCC Property Development will be responsible for management of the property for a period of six years. The purchaser is City Finansiering A/S, a Norwegian investor that already owns hotels in Sweden. Takeover will occur on completion of the property, which is scheduled for May 2002.
