NCC secures Polish highway contract worth SEK 260 million

The Polish Road Administration and Infrastructure Ministry have commissioned NCC Roads in Poland to build pay-station locations and ten kilometers of new highway, plus comprehensive repair work, on the existing highway between Wroclaw and Katowice. The contract is worth SEK 260 million and the project is scheduled for completion during 2006.

The contract is part of the A4 Expressway project to link Berlin-Cottbus-Wroclaw-Katowice-Krakow and to then proceed down to the Black Sea. The project consists of three components: pay-station locations, a section of new highway and comprehensive repairs of the existing highway. The contract includes paving work, road embankments, bridges, water and sewage facilities, traffic systems, service roads and connecting roads.
