NCC sells Belgian properties for SEK 439 million NCC Property Development is selling properties in Belgium to Soficom S.A. The sales price is EUR 48.5 million, corresponding to approximately SEK 439 million. The sale will have a marginally positive impact on the NCC Group's second-quarter earnings. As a result of the sale, NCC Property Development has left the Belgian market, with the exception of a 50-percent interest in Cross Point - an 8,000-square-meter office property in central Brussels. "The sale is in line with our strategy of concentrating operations and selling existing properties outside the Nordic region," says Mats Wäppling, President of NCC Property Development. The transaction includes the following: - two land areas in the southeastern part of central Brussels (Auderghem) with development rights totaling approximately 20,000 square meters. - a land area by Gare du Midi in central Brussels with a development right of 10,000 square meters. - holdings in the vicinity of Zaventem airport. Two buildings with a total of 13,000 square meters of office space and another two land areas with development rights of about 20,000 square meters, the so-called Twin Square project.
