NCC sells land outside Copenhagen

NCC is selling a large site outside Copenhagen. The sale of the land will give rise to a considerable capital gain for NCC Construction Denmark. This gain will be offset by impairment of projects within NCC Construction Denmark.

NCC Construction Danmark A/S has concluded an agreement regarding the sale of a land area south of Copenhagen. Details regarding the sale are not being disclosed for commercial reasons. In the interim report for January to March 2006, NCC Construction Denmark’s earnings were affected by the impairment of a number of external contracting projects. During the second quarter, additional impairment of these projects is expected, which will offset the earnings from the aforementioned sale of land.
